Ceramic Filter
CO2 cured alkaline phenolic resin process is also known as β-set method, mix sand with resin for mould and core making, then blow CO2 for curing.
Resin does not contain nitrogen, sulphur or phosphorus, reducing many related defects.
CO2 is non-toxic, and the process is environment-friendly,
Long bench life(3 days) of mixed sand reduces waste and improves productivity.
Eliminates hot tearing defects and improves casting surface finish. Moulds and cores have good resistance to humidity.
Resin addition is2.5-3.5% of sand weight;
Sand and resin shall be mixed for 60-120 seconds firstly, and then make mould and core, blow the CO2gas at 10L-25L/min according to the mould/core size and sand temperature. Gas flow duration can vary from 10 seconds to several minutes.
It is alkaline and corrosive. It will cause severe irritation and may cause chemical burns. Wear appropriate protection suite. If resin contacts skin, wash immediately with large quantity of clean water.
Keep in cool and dry place without direct sunlight, away from fire and heat. Sealed properly. Stored away from oxidizer. Handle carefully. Please be equipped with suitable storage system and emergency system of leak disposal as well as fire protection.
