Ceramic Filter
The hot box resin is a kind of binder cured under heating. The curing process consists of two stages: stage 1: the hardener releases strong acid when heated; stage 2: the resin gets cured rapidly due to the catalysis of the strong acid. This binder system includes two parts: furfural cohol modified urethane resin and hardener, it is suitable for high-efficient core making of nonferrous, iron and steel casting.
High strength,low addition of resin and reduced production cost High strength
Fast curing with high efficiency, productivity and energy saving.
Low viscosity, easily mixing with sand and good sand flow
Good resistance against moisture and long period of mould & core storage
Good collapsibility
Resin: 25kg pail, 240kg drum
Hardener:25kg pail, 240kg drum
Resin addition:2.0-3.5% (sand weight) and hardener addition: 15%-30% ( resin weight);
In case of a batch sand mixer, the sand shall be mixed with the hardener for 1min and then add resin and mixed with resin for 2min before use.
Curing temperature:200-250℃, curing time: 10-120s. The thicker the mould core, the longer the curing time;
Too low curing temperature or short curing time will result in insufficient mould & core curing; Too high curing temperature will result in risks of mould & core deformation and surface overburning; Too long curing time will bring in over curing and difficult stripping.
1.Resin is toxic and irritating. Hardener is corrosive and irritating to eyes and skin. Please use appropriate protective clothing, gloves and glasses/face masks. A ventilated place is required;
2.It explodes when resin and hardener are mixed directly. Pls be equipped with explosion proof ventilation system and emergency system of leak disposal as well as fire protection.
3.In case of eye contact, open eyelids and flush with flowing clean water and seek medical advice;
4.Handle with care during loading and unloading;
5.This product shall be stored in a dry and ventilated place under 25℃ and away from rain, sun and heat source;
6.The empty package shall not be cut or heated before complete cleaning.
Please request MSDS for detailed safety instructions.
